Drop-off Location

Large quantities can be taken to a refuse transfer station.

Impact: Wax paper can take a long time to break down in landfill due to its wax coating. If soiled with food, it contributes to greenhouse gas emissions.

Did you know? Wax paper is NOT recyclable, despite often looking similar to baking paper which sometimes can be. The wax coating prevents it from being processed.
