Impact: If plastic window envelopes are incorrectly placed in recycling bins, they can contaminate the paper recycling process. The plastic windows can end up as landfill or in waterways if not disposed of correctly.
Did you know? The plastic window in envelopes can't be recycled with paper. Try to remove it before recycling the paper part, or opt for windowless envelopes whenever possible.
