Impact: Synthetic pillows can take hundreds of years to break down in landfills, contributing to environmental pollution. Natural fillings can also release methane, a potent greenhouse gas, as they decompose.
Did you know? Some pillows can be composted if they are made entirely of natural, biodegradable materials like wool or feathers. However, this isn’t suitable for synthetic pillows.
