The Te Kuiti Transfer Station and Recycling Centre accepts a range of household waste, including general refuse, green waste, and recyclables such as paper, cardboard, plastics #1 and #2, glass, and steel cans. It also accepts some problem wastes like e-waste, tyres, and scrap metal.
