Accepted Items

The Dobson Transfer Station, officially called the Chatham County Collection Center #5 - Siler City accepts household garbage, bulky items like furniture and appliances, and various recyclables such as plastic bottles, cans, paper, and cardboard. Certain hazardous materials like paint, batteries, and used oil are also accepted; however, there may be specific guidelines or fees for their disposal.
